Facade 71 - Ferret Falls

This waterfalls usually appears after a torrential rain. I guess I was so lucky with my photography pals. A long trek in the mud with slippery rocks around.

There were numerous horse flies that were sucking blood out of me!

Thank you for your sacrifice, Roentarre. This photograph is well worth the horse flies and the long trek as far as I'm concerned. It's beautiful.

This is a lovely sight. Sometimes beauty is hidden deep inside a location. It looks like your blood and sweat was well worth it. I always worry about hiking through slippery rocks not because I might fall, but because I don't want to drop my camera. :)

It is a lovely spot. The water blur is beautiful. Too bad about the flies...I hate those things.

this is a beautiful shot of a lovely location, except of course for the insects. Why is it that so many beautiful locations also have some annoying insects that get in the way of our enjoyment. I am glad you enjoyed the resort photos on my site. Today I have dancing Chihuly glass art on my site.

Hope you didn't slip thru those rocks, from the looks of it really slippery. Again, nice shot!

Those of us bitten by the photography bug have to occasionally put up with being bitten by other kinds of bugs!

Nicely-composed photo - I like the low angle which shows off the rocks and wetness leading up to the falls itself.

Great job!

And thanks for stopping by Ocala DP!
