Facade 54 - Corra Lynn Waterfalls

This is one of the four Corra Lynn Waterfalls in Victoria, Australia. One of the funniest things about Victoria Tourism is the lack of proper advertising and management of local wonders. This very particular waterfalls is located in Marysville area where the spot is not well marked.

The falls is luckily under a canopy of tress with no lighting going through the leaves. A very cool area and gentle walk about 400 metres or so. I spotted a few snakes but they are pretty much harmless.

A beautiful slice of the moss-covered wild! It looks a lot like Maine, where we go in the summers.

Lynda, it is a little like many parts of world especially Maine. I had been there during winter 10 years ago and it was a paradise to visit

That's great the way you captured the depth in this image.

I really like the lush green in this shot, kinda helps me forget about the long commute to work in deep snow.

That's actually your shot? Wow! I'm a photobug and love to snap all the way with the lenses but I want to tell you that I'm very impressed with your shots. Very nice! I also have some interesting island shots but I haven't put them all up in a blog. I'll keep checking your blogs so I could see more of your photos.

Hi everyone, I truely appreciate your return to comment on my blog. This waterfall has a bit of history that I spent 5 years looking for this particular one.

The problem in where I live is the inaccurate mapping of various landmarks on most maps including the national park maps!

Thank you for your kind visits and wish you a very good day :)

May be it is good that it is not advertised, so people dont' destroy it! Excellent shot! Anna :)
